Worship of our Redeemer, Jesus Christ, is the focal point of everything we do. Our doors are open to everyone - all are welcome!
What can you expect in worship?
You can expect to meet God, especially through our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. You can expect to meet friendly people, engage in accessible worship, listen to a message that matters, and connect with a God who wants a relationship with you through the forgiveness of sins.
What happens when I enter?
When you come through our doors you'll be in our entryway. It's common for Redeemer members and guests to visit before the service begins.
Where should I sit?
There is no assigned seating - feel free to sit wherever you'd like, whether the front or the back. If you need assistance an usher will help you.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. We aren't worried about what you're wearing.
How about Holy Communion?
Redeemer celebrates the Lord's Supper on the first and third Sundays of the month. We practice close communion. Please speak with a pastor beforehand.
What about the kids?
Our worship is family friendly. Kids of all ages are welcome at Redeemer. We encourage kids and their parents to grow in faith together in the regular worship service as they hear God's word and sing his praise. Here are a few helpful hints about children in worship:
The pastor delivers a special children's message on the second and fourth Sundays of the month.
Is your child acting restless? There is a cry room off the entryway where you can calm your child.
We also provide a staffed nursery during the 10:45 a.m. service to meet the needs of parents with very small children.
Choir
Redeemer is a singing church. We offer a variety of opportunities to sing, whether solo vocal, duets or quartets.
Music & Instrument Lessons
Redeemer strives to make use of all the musical talents God has blessed our church, either vocal or instrumental. Whether you are a child or an adult, if you've got instrumental ability, we want to put it to use in worship to the glory of God.
Currently Redeemer also supports the worshiping congregation by offering keyboard lessons, as well as violin lessons.
Altar Guild
Our Altar Guild supports the ministry of the congregation behind the scenes by preparing the sanctuary for worship in a variety of ways. Changing of banners, paraments and altar cloths as well as setting up for Holy Communion are just a few ways these people serve.
